Heber has also played a key role in the Community Adult Education in the shire, involved in the general management, arranging for teachers, co-ordinating financial issues and negotiating for accredited courses to name just a few.
He has given freely of his time, knowledge and sound business expertise for over eight years.
He has also filled roles on the Committee of the Tura Beach Progress Association and has been actively involved for over thirty years.

He is currently a street warden for Neighbourhood Watch in his area.
Heber has also been actively involved in community transport, being a driver for six years – it’s no wonder that Heber was nominated for a Bega Valley Shire Medallion.”
