Merimbula Centenary

In March 2012, Merimbula celebrated 100 years since it was gazetted as a town. Some of the Centenary events occurring at the Old School Museum, included local school children singing the Centenary anthem composed by local musician Paul Dion, the burying of a time capsule and a talk given by personality Dick Smith.

Lockheed Constellation visit to Merimbula

 

 

 

 

As part of the celebrations, Merimbula was treated to some aerial displays by vintage Lockheed Constallation “Connie” and the RAAF Roulettes.anthem 032s
