Since its opening the museum has been given or loaned many historical artifacts from members of the local community which form the backbone of our displays.In 2020 due to the generosity of Mr. Trevor Kennedy we received an impressive collection of oyster and scallop plates through the Commonwealth Government’s Cultural Gifts Program. The collection of 260 plates from around the world includes examples from China, Japan, the USA, UK, Belgium and France.
